I am looking forward to seeing you on Sunday! You all did a great job keeping a surprise! He knows we are having a dinner party, but he doesn't know that all of you will be there. It'll be fun!
As I mentioned earlier, this is set up like an open house So feel free to come by anytime between 5pm and about 8:30PM. We will be wrapping up about nine or so (maybe not. Haha)
We have a ton of food and really great wines and other drinks. We will have the whole house set up, so please feel free to hang out anywhere throughout the house. I even have a quiet table for four in my bedroom office. :)
The only thing you'll need to work on when you arrive is parking. You can park out front as there are six spaces in the middle and three that faces Charlemont. You can park all around the circle, and also down Charlemont drive.
If you get here and there is no parking, you can easily park at our neighborhood club house just two streets away. When you arrive, simply call my dear friend Joy and she will send the world-class shuttle down to get you. (Also known as Steven's Dad!) it would also be helpful if some of you could carpool. If that's an option.
Friends, Steven means so much to all of us and he is such a giving and loving person. I am so happy that I get to celebrate the wonderful human he is AND celebrate the fact that the world has been blessed by his presence for 40 years! And although I don't have a parking garage at our house will be cozy, I know Steven will be just as excited as I am for you to see the renovations that he and I worked so hard on last summer!
Also, I know plans change and so if you are unable to make it, that's totally fine. Just make sure you send Steven a birthday message on Monday! :)
